Department of NCC

N.C.C. training is provided in the College for both male and female students.

    AIMS OF NCC:
    • To develop character,comradeship,discipline,leadership,secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country.
    • To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and be always available for the service of the nation.

    To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Force.

    Enrolment :
    • Enrolment is open to all the students who satisfy the standards of physical fitness.
    • If he is of good character.
    Application for Enrolment :
    A student desirous of being enrolled in the senior division shall apply to officer commanding of the Unit. At present there are 70 cadets including one senior and two junior Under Officers, Necessary information can be had from Officer Commanding N.C.C. Nimapara College. 33% of cadet strength is reserved for female applicants.

  1. Sthal sainik camp held at New Delhi OR/SW/11-20316- Sushree Priyadarsini.
  2. Indian coastal Trek held at Puri. 6 No. of cadets of our college attended coastal trek which was held at Puri.
  3. All India trek at Shillong (State level). 2 No. of cadets of our college attendedThe Indian trek.
  4. NCC DAY camp. (State level) Sgt. Rajashree Satapathy attended at BBSR.
  5. Army attachment camp at Ramgarh. 6 Nos. of cadets of our college attended army attachment camp.
In this year dated 16/09/2012 all of our NCC cadets had cleaned our area hospital. Every year on 27th July, college foundation day, our cadets plant trees. On dated 20/09/2012 our cadets had done some work for road safety. Our cadets had participated the Jr. and Auto. College sports and also bagged various prizes. Jayant kumar swain became college champions. Our cadet have also joined in Armed forces like ARMY,BSF,CRPF,CISF,Fireman and Odisha Police.

  1. Three nos. of cadets attended NIC at Guntur.
  2. Two nos. of cadets attended NIC at Amritsar (Punjab).
  3. Two nos. of cadets attended NIC-1 at Bodhgaon.
  4. Five nos. of cadets attended Army Attachment camp at Sikh regiment.
  5. 4 nos. of cadets attended RDC at Delhi.
In this year dated 25/08/2013 all of our NCC cadets had cleaned our area hospital. Every year on 27th July College foundation day, our cadets plant trees. On dated 5th august our cadets had done some work for road safety. Our cadets had participated the Jr. and Auto. College sports and also received various prizes for the college and became college champion.

  2. 6 no. of cadets attended all India Summer Vacation camp at Manali and Rishikesh.
In this year dated 24th Aug. 2014 all of our cadets had cleaned our area hospital. Every year on 27th July college foundation day our cadets plant trees. On dated Aug.16 our cadets had done some work for road safety. Our cadets had participated in college sports and also represented various prizes to the college and became college championship.

  • 2015-Nabakalebara Rathajatra:- Our 15 cadets extend their cooperation to the Traffic police of Nimapara on the road leading from Nimapara to Puri and Nimapara to Bhubaneswar during the period from July 17 to July 25.
